Increased efficiency
With the replacement of two old and worn out robots in the filling line, Thisted Bryghus has now ensured a modernized and far more efficient handling of the beer production. The big robot helps depalletizing returned empty crates,
while it, at the same time, palletizes filled bottles into the crates from the filling line, explains Theis Dahlgaard, production manager at Thisted Bryghus. Since the investment in this robot we are actually filling15,000 bottles/hour, compared to the 8,000 bottles with the old line. The line efficiency has increased considerably - so that is a good news, says a very pleased production manager. The small robot lifts the empty bottles out of the crates and place them on a conveyor, where the bottles are transported through the cleaning area, on to the filling line, and back to the big robot that palletizes the completed beer crates.
